- I own an Egyptian Mau. They are very attached to their owners. Mine comes to the door when I come home and follows me around the house. If I have company she will nose around the new people, rub for pettings and hop into laps. However, if I leave the room, she's off and following after me like a shot.
- Mine knows exactly where her food comes from. Trust me, if she's hungry she'll whine pitifully at me until she's fed. She will also only eat from her bowl (except for tuna, never ever leave tuna alone).
- I trained mine to stay off of the counter tops. She knows what "no" means, she only eats from her bowl (except for the above mentioned tuna), she knows not to bite or scratch to hurt when playing, and she'll come when called (well usually, depends on how far into that cat nap she is).
