So much for freedom of speech by Kickstart2006-11-19 12:55:59

No one is abridging her rights by DesertRat66 2005-08-16 09:11:31
She has a right to spout whatever nonsense she wants. What she doesn't have is the right to be listened to.

The people in Crawford are sick of the theatrics. These protestors are camped in a public thoroughfare, impeding sparse traffic. Would I be laying on my horn going through there? Damn straight, I don't want to hit anybody being more stupid than they already are. I would imagine that the law enforcement agencies in Crawford are currently showing a lot of restraint towards this woman and the kooks down there with her. Technically they could go in there, tow their vehicles, and cite them for causing a traffic hazard.

No one needs to discredit this woman, she is doing a great job all by herself. I doubt they has the slightest idea how the decent people who make this country work perceive them. It is not with any respect. It is with contempt and it's with sorrow. But it's also with this realization: This country, if it is to survive, cannot be turned over to people like her to lead and to run, because we will cease to exist as the United States the day that happens.
