So much for freedom of speech by Kickstart2006-11-19 12:55:59
What exactly does a nearby resident by JPaganel 2005-08-16 09:03:48
have to do with freedom of speech? Is he a government employee?

I don't believe he is. Looks to me like just a man irritated by a huge crowd of people and a row of portable toilets in front of his property. Freedom of speech is about as irrelevant to this as it is to moderation on this board.

As far as his firing of the shotgun, the story linked from that page says "He claims he fired his gun in preparation for dove-hunting season." and nothing about the supposed quote. Since he is on his own property and there doesn't appear to be a local ornance against discharge of firearms, he is perfectly within his rights to engage in some practice.

Seems like BS to me.
