And then....there was my Dad's hack...

It came with a monochrome green monitor. I played games and cried a river about having to look at everything in green. So dad built this shelf --nay, a platform-- above the 'puter and drives. On the left, was the monchrome monitor, on the right, a 14" color t.v.

I wish I had paid attention (or even cared about) how he did it. It was cool. We had dual screens back in '82 or '83.

Of course, the display was the same on both, but those were the days. Back when cracking a program involved nothing more complicated than a hole punch.

What?? No, of course there wasn't a pocket on the side of the monitor that held a hole punch. What are you talking about? :D
