I don't like FF anyway.. by Bonzo2005-08-16 01:02:41
I am seriously considering switching back to IE by Star Warrior 2005-08-16 06:37:03
I've got a notebook with a display with 150 dpi. Text is very hard to read. I've adjusted my fonts to fix that. But most webpages are a hell to read, as either the font is to small (because they think, specifying absolute sizes as font sizes is a good idea - this webpage is a prime example) or the font has the right size (being dependend on browser presets, but some genius webdesigner puts the text in a 400px wide textbox (most blogs) which is hardly readable.

and if all is great (wikipedia for example is really great to read on this display), the pictures are way too small.

So I've been looking for plugins to automatically correct that for every webpage I'm surfing to.. some kind of zoom utility. Haven't found any (just one javascript bookmark that helps in really bad cases).

and then I accidently start IE and it works like a charm out of the box.. everything like on my desktop. Fonts and pictures zoomed.. great!

so.. maybe I'll switch.. any better ideas for Firefox? Maybe an extension I didn't find (I don't think I'll install Opera).
