question for audiophile UFies by quilting_kitty 2005-08-16 04:34:49
Highly got his car broken into last night and they stole, among other things, his stereo. I would like to cheer him up and surprise him by having a new reciever paid for and waiting for him at Best Buy or a similar chain store tonight.

The problem is, I know almost nothing about stereos and he knows alot. The one he had he paid ~$100 for just a couple weeks ago as a cheapo for a not very expensive car. I need advice on what to buy.

He is in Oklahoma and I am currently in Miami, so it needs to be something I can order and pay for remotely and send him to pick up.
