| I suppose it all depends on perspective. I think a lot of things someone might perceive as really horrible apply to me, that I don't really give a fat baby's butt about. To a pacifist, I'm a killer--perhaps a murderer-- for having served in the military. To me, I did my duty. To a certain segment of the super-conservative, I'm a tattooed freak who is surely hellbound. To a certain segment of the super-left, I'm a heartless capitalist. To a racist, I'm a Jew and a race-mixer (my wife is largely Native American). I personally find the whole thing irrelevant. To underperforming subordinates, I'm a jerk, an a3h4, and a bully. Because I will hold them responsible to do their jobs. I've made more than one person cry from me yelling at them. All of those and more are applicable from the right perspective... I guess I'm just jaded because none of them bother me. Must be because I'm a bit of a nihilist. |
