Help me out here....

Father was Yugoslavian, I'm Canadian.

Dad would pick up sausages at the butcher, drop them in boiling water for 5-10 minutes, slice 'em up and then we'd put them on bread with mustard.

Sound familiar? Okay... Dad died about 6 years ago. The butcher disappeared around the same time so... I don't know what kind of sausage this was! It's just.... sausage.

Now... my brother tells me he went in to a deli recently and overheard that the owners were Yugoslavian. He asked if they knew about this sausage.... YES!

And... he still hasn't got back to me with a name for these things! Argh!

So... any idea what these are called?

I - AM - DYING - FOR - ONE - OF - THESE - SAUSAGES!
