I grant that it has some beneficial effects for a small group of people - HIV, Cancer, etc... Most people do go relatively unharmed by even logn term use. Unfortunately, some beomce heavily addicted & end up with disorders similar to schizoprenia(sp?). I have seen this and am aware that this is one or two cases per 1-5 thousand. I feel that we need to know more about it and its long-term effects. All that said - I tend to find that most users I have come across are very nice people - when they are NOT using. Often, the changes it produces changes a persons attitude beyond what I'm willing to tolerate.
