If Alberta leaves we'll end up with a couple of by techi8702005-08-09 17:32:57
If BC was allowed to explore its resources by Kickstart 2005-08-09 18:25:30
...it'd be much the same story. We've got a phenomenal amount of oil and gas in the northeast sector apparently, plus what can be gained from offshore drilling (fraught with peril, heads exploding, cats and dogs living together, blah, blah, blah).

To say nothing of the millions of hectares of beetle-killed pine that we'd be much better off downing now before the beetles kill it all.

I say that BC and Alberta (and possible Yukon) need to sit down together and start hashing out an agreement. If nothing else, that will scare Ottawa into paying a little more attention.
