tightening it up a bit, and making it a bit less restrictive.

Tightening: you don't mention giving info away, except in the general top bit. Maybe you can find a wording that covers everything without enumerating everything.

Your log policy doesn't really reflect actual use, because you can and do use IP info to help in the moderation task.

I think you should try and cover the potential tracking by advertisers, as well. I know your aim is to keep it short and to the point, but most privacy policies these days cover tracking and cookies. But that's more the "CYA" sort of privacy policy.
