| Don't worry I'm not offended or mad, just highly amused and a little surprised! I frequent a few other forums on a once- or twice-a-week basis and have recently participated in a debate about the "right" of secession. For the record, I think regions in some circumstances should indeed have that right. I guess that doesn't make me much of a federalist.
So anyway, here I tool along in my left-leaning bias, and I make my case. I refute some incoming points and, lo and behold, one of my debate opponents invokes Godwin's Law:
You're [sic] attitude is clearly self-serving and destructive, you would rather support the needs of your locale rather than your brother man as a whole. Do you know what parochialism is. I guess you would prefer sacrificing the less fortunate just so you can live the high life. Your [sic] a godamnned Nazi. How do you live with yourself.
