WATCH OUT! I'M STOPPING! Brake lights are signal lights for one purpose: You're slowing down because you are pressing on the pedal USED for slowing down. If you try to think that someone is trying to signal you for some other reason, you've lost time in realizing that they are trying to STOP - AND ARE WARNING YOU TO DO THE SAME! Yes, tailgateing is annoying and laws favor the person being tailgated. But when push comes to shove, the best place to be is BEHIND the one doing the pushing and shoving. My personal rule of the road is: SURVIVE - don't COMPETE. It's nice to be right - but not DEAD right.
