I've been known to flash my brakelights at someone while accelerating away into a faster speed zone, there being a good half inch of movement between the switch opening and the pedal doing anything useful in my car. Of course, the lights being only as high off them ground as they are (550mm is being generous here), most of the time the people I consider are too close behind me will only see them at night. Which is most people in this city, because good drivers are few and far between (it's a sad case when you can say why you're better than most fully licensed drivers after being on your P's for three weeks).
