Door panels are probably too strong anyway. by fudje 2005-08-09 08:06:04
In pretty much any Alfa Romeo that locks successfully, it's possible to open a door from the inside without first unlocking it. I know that this is true of at least a 1972 105 series GTV, 1976 Alfetta GTV, a 1978 116 sedan, a 1985 Alfetta GTV6, and a 2003 156 (Interestingly enough, it's also impossible to lock the driver's side door while it's open on all of these without breaking the mechanism). So there's an example of cars that don't need unlocking from the inside.
