Just locked my keys in the car... by purplepineapple2005-08-09 07:32:22
No wire hangers lying about? by hadji2005-08-09 07:34:49
Tried the hanger....didn't work... by purplepineapple 2005-08-09 07:50:13
I've broken into my car before, but I was lucky - a window had been left down about half an inch and that was enough to use a piece of stiff wire to lever the lock mechanism on the inside of the door (yay for weird old-fashioned locks!)...

And someone else has tried to break in using something on the driver's door keyhole - the metal is twisted as a result, and the mechanism isn't as smooth as on the passenger side.

But none of that helps us tonight.... *shrugs* Solution has been found, just means I might have to replace some vegies and loose some sleep...
