Just locked my keys in the car... by purplepineapple 2005-08-09 07:32:22
...along with half the groceries, including some frozen stuff.

*sigh*

Had to call and wake my parents up at midnight to arrange for the spare key to come down from their house tomorrow morning. I'll be up at 6am so I can go pick it up from the person who'll be bringing it down, and get back to my neck of the woods to go to class...*

Good thing it's winter and still pretty chilly at night, so hopefully some of the food will still be ok *crosses fingers* Vegies, not meat.

*sigh*

I think I'll go to bed, now.

---
* My parents live roughly 140km from me - 2 hours by car on average. My mom commutes in a car pool some days in the week to a location about half-way between us. She's not coming down tomorrow, but can get the key to someone else who is. It takes just less than 2 hours to get from my place to the half-way point by public transport (bus-train-bus) so it'll be a long morning of travelling...but still better than paying for someone to break into my car for me! We tried to do it ourselves, but we weren't raised in the right neighbourhoods ;)
