Morning Drive Excitement by carthax2005-08-09 06:46:49
That's rough, and can be scary. by rook_mtl 2005-08-09 06:56:54
It's happened to me once with a guy in a huge SUV. He was tailgating my Jetta, and I mean close.

We were on a highway (speed limit 100km/h) and I was doing 120km/h when he comes up behind me in the middle lane. There was plenty of room to pass on the left, but he decided to ride my bumper. I did the same as you, tapped my brakes a couple of times without slowing down.

He's honking and cursing, and yells at me when he finally decides to pass me. I continue on my way but notice he follows my every move. I signal for an exit, and he swerves off at the last second to follow in front. I pull into a gas station (both because I needed gas and because there are other people) and proceed to fill my tank.

The guy followed me into the gas station, sat in his SUV 20 feet away and proceeded to swear and yell at me for the whole time I pumped my gas.

I didn't help matters much though, I was laughing too hard at him. Even when he threatened to get out of his truck and show me how funny it was. I couldn't help it, I told him to get out and show me. I thought he was going to have a heart attack his face was so red!

Left me shaking a bit though...
