enough funds to suport him/herself! US$200 is not enough for more than a day or so! Just owning a Credit card or ATM card does not proof of having enough money. (Everybody in the US can have a credit card, but that does not mean that they have ANY money!) Travelers checks are allways ok to have, they are valid same as cash, and they are insured against theft!
