If someone tailgates... I get their rego & report them. After one incident where I was FORCED to do 70 in a 60 zone (It changes to two lanes & 80 about 1km down the road). I was trying to do 60 - I try to always abide by the limit - and had L (learner) plates on the back... The a7 behind me was driving within a metre of me & blaring his horn like all hell was loose behind him. Then suddenly - He overtakes me IN THE SAME LANE!!!! Nice. I'm on a bike, if I go down, I don't have a steel box protecting me. I don't give a D4 about perception. If you tailgate me, you'll get a visit from the boys in blue. The limit is the limit. I have no respect for anyone who ignores it or worse says it's ok "because everyone does it". Tailgating is illegal - it can all to easy become a lethal rearend collision.
