Can anybody recommend a good laptop manufacturer by theschles2005-08-04 15:50:55
  I use Toshiba by MikeCDN 2005-08-04 15:56:10
After watching 3 dells physicall break at work, I opted for Toshiba when I went shopping, have had two the first was used, and worked good for a used laptop, the second I've had for a year and a bit now, and still works great, taken a good amount of abuse (including water) and has survived.

My dad bought a Compaq, and has had it 5 months now, has not complained, though i'm concerned about his wifi signals, in areas that I get 90% signal he gets 40% neither of our laptops has had to be supported.
