As we all know from the old grains of wheat on a chessboard problem, you will soon be making more money each day than the current gross economic product of the earth. Since the rate of currency growth would exceed the growth of the value of all the stuff on earth, any currency that you would be paid in would have to devalue. You'd also reach the point in which you owned everything on the planet, after which there could be no economic transaction that could increase the amount of wealth available.
