          *cough* D.C. by thread_killer 2005-08-04 15:24:10
C'mon...have you been here lately?

It's way worse than it was just a few years ago. Going through Gainesville in thwe morning (freaking Gainesville!!! ) and it takes me just over an hour to go three stop lights. No accident, just my commute to work.

That's like....past Manassas in the middle of nowhere. Where do all these people come from??

For the record though, the SF area has nothing on D.C. rush hour traffic in my experience, and Savannah, Georgia I can do 80 miles an hour on I-95 at 6:00 P.M. Knowing good and well at that same time in the D.C. area there is a 100 mile stretch of the same highway where nobody is going more than 15 mph anywhere.
