about local drivers, but until you've driven in the NY metro area, or in LA, you have no basis for comparison. I was in Houston one time, and everyone was complaining about the traffic. I was on the main highway on a Friday rush hour, and the traffic never slowed below 45 MPH, and I was wondering what the heck they were complaining about. The commute in and out of NYC is insane (and I won't do it at all). It takes 20-45 minutes to get across the George Washington Bridge (about 5 miles of actual road) on a GOOD day.
