Like you said there are `disturbed' people who will always want to manipulate people. And because UFies are as a whole trusting and caring people, there is always the risk of being emotionaly manipulated and hurt. We could harden our hearts but I don't see that as an option for me (tried it, was misrable).
I know that multi accounts have been created for various reasons, so we can't assume that everyone with two accounts has malicious intentions. I was not here for the incident that you described, but I can see that I would be very hurt and disturbed if I was deceived in that manner.
The only thing that I can think of is to become close with the community as a whole here then if this type of thing happens we can draw on each others strength to deal with it as we see fit at the time. |
