Oops. Those are really for decoration only; if you actually try to read them they'll fall apart and leave your fingers coated with gold.

Now... play games for the gameplay. A game has to be focused on something (or else be bad in all aspects), and this tends to drown out most else. If you really want two greatly unrelated things, you have to divide them 50/50. Expect neither half to be very good...
