The foreskin is a functional organ. It protects and lubricates the penis, and plays a role in sexual response. Men without foreskins often suffer reduced sensitivity of the glans, a general reduction of sexual sensitivity, and an increased risk of penile chafing/injury. The medical justifications for removing this organ are weak at best, especially since most of the "benefits" used to justify circumcision can also be attained by just teaching the boy to wash himself properly.
