I said that without doing that, its impossible to have results that aren't prone to variables. I did no say I condoned that, I even said it was immoral, so how the hell do you get that I'm for it and where do you get off questioning my ethics?

Shortening the observation timeline shortened the length of the study, and therefore lowered the length that such things could be observed to weed out variables.
