That's what's not right. But neither is it his fault. His behavior is *perfectly* understandable to me.

An effing waiting list to be treated for PTSD? That is wrong. Dead wrong in this case.

If it were possible for me to hate the VA anymore, that would have ratcheded up my hatred two more notches.

You take a young kid, you put him in heavy combat, then send him back to the civillian world!! IT DOESN'T WORK!!!! I don't fault his behavior in the slightest. He did exactly what he should have done.

The fault lies with his chain of command and those worthless policy making f4s at VA who didn't recognize that he wasn't quite ready to be back in the world.
