Let me try to re-state my objection.

If good and evil are relative, then it should be possible to examine something that is evil, and find a context in which it is good.

Let me pull an example out of history. The war crimes that occurred in nazi concentration camps included certain medical experiments performed on prisoners. The data from these experiments, after the war, was assimilated into the general body of knowledge of medicine, and used in the conventional and constructive practice of diagnosing and treating illness and injury.

Despite the fact that some good was brought out of the evil of those experiments, it does not change the fact that they were acts of evil. Their nature remains the same.

Maybe there's a better example out there, or one that in fact does prove that good and evil are relative. I can't think of one now, and I've not seen an actual proof yet...
