the hospital did report it, and reported it to a very reasonable place! My first instinct would ahve been family services or such, not the cops, assuming that the cops would probably have worked through or with family service anyway. I think the real failure is the family services who took the report. Then again this country does seem to have serious issues with social services in general. Either they don't move fast enough, or move to quickly to make good decisions.
