MS Word will save files as text and allows the user to select the line seperator code from CR, CR/LF, LF, or LF/CR. It has been a while since I used VBA, but I think it may be possible to send text to Word and tell it to save it as text with LF as line seperator. As much as I get frustrated with MS products, this may actually be a good use for one.
