WTF IS WRONG?!?!?! by finklestein 2005-08-04 02:21:51
Major headaches. I'm a beginning linux user and I'm trying to run a dual boot between linux and windows XP. That is, if I could get GRUB to install properly wih fedora. After nearly two months of trying, two downloads and finally a purchashed copy of Fedora 4 I'm at my wit's end.
I have installed fedora AOK no less than 20 times, but every time the boot-loader fails to install. and once again I'm staring at my windows XP bootup screen rather than the fedora one.

so how the hell does a person do this manually and stay sane?
I've installed XP first and it's a fresh install fully updated. I don't really know much of anything about the command line (as I haven't had the chance to even use Linux yet)
