You are on the right track. "Smoove" is what you use to "smoove" your clothes. I call it an iron.

"Go-roun" was tricky. Normally, "go-roun" means a car with its hazzard flashers on because you have to "go-roun" it. In this case, he was talking about a fan.

A police officer looking for people who had been involved in a fight was knocking on doors. A man answered one door with a bleeding gash on his forehead. When asked if had been injured in the fight outside, he gave the reply I posted which means:

"No, my SO hit me on the head with the iron because I was standing in front of her fan."

She was mad because she is slaving over this hot iron and he won't move out of the way of the fan. No complaint signed. The injured man felt that he had been out of line and was properly corrected.
