OSX / Ibook question by Winsmith2005-07-24 14:54:12

eh, well, forget it anyway... by Winsmith 2005-07-24 16:11:44
I just fragged my monitor. No joke, I just fragged the screen I had attached to the ibook, the reason being that it was operating at the highest possible refresh rate, even if it didn't support that at all. It seems the ibook thought that since the monitor didn't complain at first, 100Hz would be OK to use, even if the monitor can only handle 73Hz...

I am pretty stumped. I just lost a nice 17" screen. Thank god I didn't use my main monitor.
