because my dad is not a super rich man. She did fine finacially without him. They both work hard, but they play hard too. They have the toys to prove it. Boats, seadoos, motorcycles , etc.

I wouldn't want to marry anyone that had that much baggage either. I went into my marriage with the attitude that I was in this for the long haul, and that I only was going to do this once. I have seen far too much in my lifetime to let my marriage ruin over small piddly stuff. I learned a lot from seeing my father make mistakes. Communication and trust is the key factor. If you don't have that...you are totally screwed.
