It certainly looks convincing, but there isn't anything that says they properly identified themselves with a badge. If you have such information, I'd love to see it, because then I'd wholeheartedly agree with what the police did.
There is one other thing that I've wondered about, though. Why did they wait until he was within the subway station to take him down? Let's say he was a suicide bomber and he hadn't tripped - we'd probably be reading about how another train was blown up (or the bomb failed to go off).
I can see that they may have been reluctant to shoot at first because of the risk to pedestrians, but once inside the station, the stakes are a lot higher.
I.e. what I'm saying is, if they were sure enough that he was a suicide bomber to kill him, why did they wait as long as they did to take him out? Depending on how long he was down before they jumped him, he may have even had time to detonate a bomb if he had been a bomber. |
