See, with some kind of beard on the chin, you can go a couple days without trimming it and look more or less the same. Being a blonde, I don't get much visible "5 o'clock shadow" either, and what I do get looks halfway decent matched with the beard. Trim it all off, though, and I have to shave as much as twice a day to keep from looking like a bum. The "vagrant" definition, not the body part. :-)
