Basically, if I'm studying abroad, I don't have to serve in the armed forces until I get back. Now I find out that I can actually choose whether to serve in the Canadian or the Norwegian armed forces...

So, how easy is Canada on that? I already know from a gun discussion that your standard infantry weapon weighs half of what ours do or so...
