It's not paticularly useful if you are not going into banking. What you'll remember is usually common sense stuff anyway. This is coming from someone with an accoutnif degree, I have used almost nothing from my economics classes. If it is supply and demand (microeconomics) it can be an interesting class, but does not provide any deep thought or coversational gambits the lit or philosphy might.
