Red Herring. This is a double edged sword that could flat blow up in his face if it comes to light that the husband did nothing wrong and he pushes the investigation past a reasonable point. If the Husband did do something wrong then it could still blow up in his face because this was not brought out by an earlier Governor or before she was taken off life support during his tenure. I agree with your other post that the whole situation is highly suspect and I totally think that part of the reason for this is to pre-empt any cases that could be brought forward by the family or the husband against anyone. Sort of a "nip it in the bud" philosophy. This whole situation depends on what is discovered in the preliminary re-investigation by the officers tasked with that duty. Again, if it turns into a witch hunt/red herring I will join in with you calling foul. Until we see if that happens we just won't know until it does or does not happen.
