It would be called conflict of interest and conduct unnacceptable to the government or the courts.

You have elected prosecutors. WHO CONTROLS THE PARTY COFFERS? Remember the golden rule? He who has the gold, rules! Jeb Bush has made a lot of money (political contributions) from this case. He has asked a prosecutor to extend the case. He will, thus continue to profit from the case.

It took a special request, shopped around to various prosecutors (implied by the article) for him to receive an agreement for the investigation. In other words, agreeing to investigate was not a "no-brainer" for other prosecutors.

The autopsy has shown the political posturings to "Save Terry" were a vainglorious attempt which would have acheived NOTHING. Nothing in the record provides any justification for creating a new investigation.

This case is so far wrong for so many reasons, it beggars the imagination that you can not see it.
