The autopsy has shown that there is no discerable reason for the heart stopping. No more, no less.
It means that the andswer to the question of why did her heart stop is "We don't know."
What is also stated is:
1) There is no evidence of abuse, either before or during the coma. Any evidence of abuse that might have been present at the time of death has been obscured by 15 years of coma.
2) There is no evidence of an eating disorder. Whether or not there was an eating disorder is not shown either way, simply that there is no evidence of one.
3) The autopsy answers only one major question, which was the critical question regarding this whole sorry mess:
Was she so badly brain-damaged, that:
a) she was in a coma [YES],
b) there was no possibility of any recovery [YES],
c) her reported interactions had any meaningful content [NO].
That being the case, the question of wrongdoing by the husband being brought out at this stage is highly suspect. As suspect as the lies [or perhaps desperate wishful imaginings to put a best-case picture on it] of her family and their political representatives. |
