The idea was to mix calorie watching with exercize, but when I started the diet, I was working 5 days a week, usually closing shifts (i.e. getting out after 10:00pm), and I just didn't have the motivation or time to go rollerblading before work.
Then it was cold as all-get-out for about a month, and I'm picky.
Now that it's nicer out, I'm planning to go at least once a week for half an hour (and that gets my pulse up for at least half an hour after i've stopped blading, so...yeah), with the idea being to increase my speed and/or stamina to the point that I can do more than two laps of the nearby lake before falling over in exhaustion. :-D |
