My home system has 128 Mb of RAM and I have choked it more than once. My work system has 512 Mb, and I recently needed a piece of software that lists 768 Mb as the minimum requirement to run (1 Gb preferred). It wouldn't even install. I should have tons of virtual memory available on both, but that doesn't always seem to help.
