What cards are in them? What version of the IOS is running? Much of the stuff from 10.x has been depreciated, and stuff from 11.x is quickly going that way. How much memory do they have? You might have a really hard time upgrading.

What are you going to do with them? If you're going to set up a lab for home learning you're pretty much screwed if the cards are all ISDN and don't have integrated NT1's. Got v.35 connectors laying around? DSU's?

I use a 2500 in my house to route between segments and it's solid as you could want, but it doesn't do any heavy lifting, if you know what I mean.
