I understood it just fine. Then again, I was a military policeman for about 13 years. I was standing a gate at Beal AFB (Marysville/Yuba City, California) when a rather hopped up Chevelle(?) exited my gate. The road is dead straight and level for about 4 miles. When he left the gate at about 15MPH, he floored it. He spun the tires when he downshifted to 1st, spun them again at 2nd, and chirped them when he hit 3rd. <sigh> Memories....
