Debate Help by LSU_Frodin 2005-06-17 01:19:21
Hey guys, I need to invoke the debating faction of UF. I got into a debate with a friend over a certain piece of software (really an addon) being bloated and doing more than it should. He says that it doesn't harm anything in this new world of Gigs of Ram and Oodles of HD space, so why call it bloated, etc. The problem came when we got to the part about how something that harms is not good. But the question was really inverted, I proposed that something that doesn't harm doesn't mean it's good. Now I need an example, and I'm clueless. Any help please?

Summary:

I need a situation that doesn't cause harm, but is bad.

OR

A situation that causes harm, but is good.

Thanks and I'm talking about reasonable situations.
