It's not a Good Idea™ to convert your bitmap first to JPG then to postscript, I'd recommend using print function of your graphics program, if it doesn't export straight to postscript. With Windows "Print to file", if you've selected a postscript printer, you can save the file directly to postscript file. I googled an old How To: http://www.uwo.ca/its/print/psfile.html
