(You might have heard me offering to swap places with jmaxsohmer yesterday, who is having his wisdom teeth extracted.) I've just decided to save the original bitmap as JPG, and convert from JPG, and quality be hanged. (I do have jpeg2ps, you see.) Thanks, both of you!
